Hey everyone,

Been a long time BMW owner which includes an M140i, 340i, 330d, 335d X-Drive and my other "pool" car is a G20 330i. As one of my leases were up it was time to go search around, choices were an M4 Comp, M340i or another F30 340i.. On a whim I tried the Kia Stinger 3.3 and put an order in the next day, I very much enjoyed how it drove and the stereo made a fair impact too. Hence here I am.! Looking forward to debating with you all in the near future.

Congrats man. Color? Pics? Happiness level when you smell that new car?

Thanks, I'll be sure to snap a few on my long ride break in period. It's midnight black w/ black interior, seems there's only one trim left for us in the UK (or one I could buy anyway), GTS is the 3.3 V6TT..

First time I've enjoyed the sound of a Harmon Kardon and it's just very fun to drive. I like my cars a little unruly without ruining the experience with technical inadequacy and that big ol' barge manages to put a huge grin on my face when required, strong amounts of torque in the low mids really helps the experience. Finding a car to replace a BMW diesel is a tall order in those regards, ultimately as an enthusiast what more could you want?

I mean as a GT it can do mundane but at least you have the option, I used to love BMW's but as of late i've found them a little numb. Maybe I just owned too many of them? It was time for a change.

Welcome to the hive! A great upgrade to sharpen up the handling is upgrading the front and rear sway bars... makes it nice and precise and pointy. I agree with you that BMWs have gotten all a bit dull (the M2 is apparently the only exception)

Howdy. It's okay if you still like BMW. :D

Oh I do.. :)

I've detoured from BMW a few times in the past only to end up buying another one, although I've got high hopes for the Kia. As a package they really knocked it out of the park, kinda like an Alfa 159 executed properly without the high chance of catastrophic engine failure.

@Kia Stinger Hey Sal, I think one post is still stuck in the mod queue. I'm planning to be an active member so if there's anything I've missed let me know. Thanks in advance..
