So just bought the Stinger GT2 for the wife, red with black interior. We saw it in the local mall a few months back and from the rear I thought it was another Maserati display. Very sexy car. She fell in love with it so we traded in her Optima EX, got the 2nd car off the truck (first was a GT1 that was sold earlier that morning). We already put $2k down just to hold it so we can get first dibs, of course we loved it and finished the purchase at MSRP, I didn't even try to haggle below sticker on a new car like this.

My car is a 2015 Hellcat Challenger and I tell you what, this Stinger, although not as loud and in your face like the hellcat of course, is soooooooo much fun to drive. Kia really knocked it out of the park with the Stinger GT. It's already drawn a crowd when we pulled into a local bar.

First thing I need to do though is get that ugly KIA off the back and replace it with the elegant cursive Stinger we saw in all the showrooms prior to it's release. Anyone else done this yet or plan to? Got a good lead on getting the Stinger emblem? I saw one on Ebay that said OEM and shipped from Korea so was leaning towards that.

Welcome aboard, @Zebug! And thank you for signing up. :) Congratulations on your new Stinger GT! For the Wife, huh? Lucky woman! Yes, we've all been waiting for this car to make it to our shores. And if you paid MSRP this early in the game - you got a great deal. :)

2015 Hellcat Challenger! Okay, so you're used to having a fast car. But yes - the Stinger is made to handle the road in a way that the Hellcats generally don't. The Stinger won't be as thrilling in a straight line - but you'll find it interesting on twisty roads or up and down ramps. :p

As for the badge - if you're using a desktop device you should see an image up top that states, "Stinger badges available". Have you seen it? If you're using a mobile device, it'll be the image at the bottom. I sell and ship those personally. You don't have to wait forever for your badges to arrive from South Korea - through customs and all - which can take a really long time. The one you posted above states, "Estimated between Tue. Jan. 9 and Wed. Feb. 7. This item has an extended handling time and a delivery estimate greater than 13 business days.". Buy from here today and you'll have your badges by Wednesday or Thursday. You'll also be supporting this community. :)

Again, welcome to the community! And thank you for signing up...

ahh sweet, I didn't notice that but I did see you mention it in the welcome email that I read after I posted. I'm all about supporting the communities I participate in so almost certainly will be buying from here.

Do you happen to know if the current KIA symbol on the back is just stuck on or is it drilled on? The Optima we had, the front badge had posts that went into the hood (can't remember if it was the hood or trunk actually).

Hellcat vs Stinger, two completely different cars both stupidly fun....which is exactly the reason to live on this planet...to have fun.

Thank you, sir. I appreciate your consideration. I love getting emails asking how I get badges to members so quickly. For a while there everything I ordered was stuck in U.S. Customs but I've now got everything in stock. I've also placed a larger order and, as promised, all prices have come down compared to my original batch.

Yes, thank you to @jwhollan for sharing the link. That's everything you need to know in regards to badge removal and installation. It's pretty cut and dry.

As for the Hellcats - so impressive... And the Demons - truly amazing. I like how Dodge isn't playing the game where each generation gains a few tenths on the quarter mile like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Cadillac, etcetera. Dodge just put it all on the table and said, "Good luck"...

Thank you very much! :)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
