Hello all,
Just bought a new 2018 red Stinger GT base and am very impressed with the car. I got the base GT because I don't think a nav system or sunroof is a must have these days with Apple car play and since I am not taking it to the track, a variable suspension was not needed either. I thought the regular suspension was fine.
Would have liked a yellow car but the problems with the yellow paint precluded that choice.
This car does just what I want it to. It let's you sit in a comfortable, classy interior, has beautiful lines, accelerates like a scalded ape and stops on a dime. I drove the Golf R, BMW M240I, Mustang GT before I drove the Stinger but the Stinger had it all over those cars for what I was looking for. The Golf R handled better but, it's a Golf. The Mustang was a beast but too small in the back seats and way too loud and in your face exhaust. I don't want to annoy the neighbors or look like a road bully. The BMW barely had any technology, the ride was harsh and, it was harder to get into with my bad knees.
I'm an older guy, retired pilot living in Colorado and needed the all wheel drive. I'm glad to have found this forum and I am sure I will gain lot's of ggod advice from the car enthusiasts here.
