Hello everyone,

My name is Phil, I live in FL, and just recently got a brand new black 2020 stinger GT line, the 2.0 v4. I was looking at the gt1 but it wasn't in my budget.

I know little about tuning cars, please bare with me, just trying to get informed.

I have a few questions I am hoping some 2.0 owners could answer. During browsing the website before posting, I noticed most people have the gt1 and 2.

1. Would it make sense to add a JB4 tuner to the 2.0?
2. Is there a noticeable difference?
3. Has anyone ran a dyno with a stock 2.0 and a jb4? If so, what were the results?
4. Is there a learning curve i.e. can I mess my car up with the wrong maps?

Some other questions about the car itself,

1. My stinger has a wireless charger by the center console, yet my phone (galaxy s9+) barely fits, if at all. I feel like it was made for iphones? Anyone else have issues with this?
2. The auto off (forgot the correct term) at the red lights drives me crazy. I'm in FL and when the engine auto offs, I'll call it, the AC also stops pumping cold air. Any way to keep this setting OFF? It always turns back on after I restart the car.

I purchased the "E" logos for the rims and the front badge. My stinger came with the "stinger" logo already on the back so I think I will leave it there for now. I have experience removing badges from previous cars and watched some stinger front badge removals on youtube. I plan to use goo gone and fishing line instead of the heat method. Also purchased the E emblem for the steering wheel. I was going to pull the trigger on the JB4 but wanted to hear some input first.

I'm glad to have found this forum, and hope to gain insight and some new friends!

I will post pics after she gets tinted tomorrow!

Welcome to the forum! What part of FL are you in?

For the Idle Stop and Go feature there is no way to disable or leave it set to off from the factory. There are mods available to address and I plan to use the following this method to address this "feature", post 78:

You can get the memory module from Shark Racing here:

Remove this part "%20(Idle%20Stop%20and%20Go)" from the URL for Shark Racing after you click it to get to the part. I have no idea why it keeps adding this into the link.

Howdy. Just make turning ISG OFF as part of your "pilot's checklist". :D I do it 99% of the time. And when I forget, it's usually only noticed when I move to "P" to shut off; grrr. Minor annoyance. I'd never tear into the center console to permanently disable it.

As for your mod questions, I now step back because I do not mod this car.

Haha, looks like that's what going to happen, thanks for the reply!

If anyone with a 2.0 can give me some insight on the JB4 I would really appreciate it.
