Hi
Just signed up today for a new carbon edition in red . Looking forward to picking it up and changing all the Kia badges to GT . Just wondering if the badge overlays are the way to go or go for the replacement ?

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger! When do you pick it up? As for overlays, let me know which you're looking at. There are GT overlays for the steering wheel and wheel center caps. The only GT pieces available for the front and rear are full replacement emblems...

Welcome to the hive! Post up some pics when you get it!

G’day @Bradles, welcome to the forum & congratulations on your new Red Carbon Edition.
As for badge overlays, IMO I would swap out the external badges, the only overlay I have is on the steering wheel.
There is a ton of information on here about badge swapping & if you are not confident in doing it yourself a reputable smash repair shop should be able to do that for you.
As you have the Carbon Edition I have seen carbon Fibre look Stinger Script & GT badges for the rear.

Hi guys thanks for replying and the info . I pick it up next week and looking forward to getting out of my Jeep .I've been into the stinger store and am going for the full oem badge package and the steering wheel badge too. I'm a spray painter and have loads of experience in badge installation so will be an easy fix for me. Now tossing up on the genuine bimodal or aftermarket system . Kinda hard to get my head around the 3k plus price the dealer is asking for the exhaust here in Aus . Will post some before and after pics re badge install .

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Howdy. And welcome to the forum. It will be a long week. :D

Yes, badge swap out should be easy for you.
As for bi-modal, although I only have stock exhaust IMHO I would go with genuine system, you will get all the warranty & no issue with legislative requirements, if you push a bit harder I’m sure you will get the price down a little more.
As for aftermarket you will spend a little less with no warranty & most of them drone, plenty of issues written about them, but in the end it’s personal choice & I would suggest you do some research before you decide especially on aftermarket.

Welcome Bradles. Good colour choice. I have the bi-modal and have no issues or complaints. Love the noise.
