hi, this is my first post on here. i love the stinger and what it offers at the price point. i am waiting on the 2021 gt2 to see if the improvement are worth it before purchasing one. I would be coming from a 2018 accord. I live in NYC and with the weather, is it it advisable to get the awd or rwd + snow tires. What are your opinions on that. I appreciate the replies and stay safe.

Welcome to the hive! No matter what you end up with you are going to need snow tires, as the stock tires are fantastic, but are not designed for temperatures under 10C or 50F...

Howdy. I got the AWD by chance (wasn't shopping for it). And I am glad I have it when the roads are dicey. The AWD is a plow in the snow, it just goes. I've never had an AWD before.

If I still lived up north, there's no doubt I'd have AWD. That, and good luck finding a RWD one up there. Last time I was in PGH, not a single dealer had a RWD one on the lot.

Welcome to the forum. We have no choice in Australia as our Stingers are all RWD. But it does sound like AWD is the go in the snow. (I'm a poet and I didn't know it.)

Just one concern. Did you check the rear passenger space on Stinger?
How does it compare to Accord ? Also there is a big hump ,may not be easy for rear passenger

thats right, after watching a couple reviews, the rear head room is the biggest issue i have, pre-ownership
