Hey all,

Just checking in as a new member. Picked up a ‘22 GT-Line (w/ sun and sound package) last month after wanting a Stinger since they were released. My last “fun” vehicle was a 2016 Focus ST which was a great vehicle. Prior to that I had a really clean ‘02 Ram 2500 Cummins SLT Laramie QCSB 6-speed I never should have sold. I’m an avid car enthusiast that’ll probably never have enough money for all the cars on my “want” list.

Few pics of the Stinger, my wife’s ‘21 Telluride S, and a couple of my past vehicles.

Unfortunately the Stinger was hit 3 days into my ownership at a supermarket parking lot. Luckily it was fixed quickly by the lady’s insurance and I am back to enjoying it.

Plans for the car are nothing crazy. Intake when they become available and maybe some lowering springs. Also wouldn’t mind a mild exhaust. Other than that I just plan to enjoy driving it. Kia did a really great job with this car.

Congrats on the Stinger and welcome!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Welcome. Glad the damage was fixed quickly and wasn't worse. Have you determined to do things differently in parking lots? Park in the "north forty", where nobody else wants to park (except maybe other car enthusiasts): pick end stalls only, uphill from rolling shopping carts: not under trees, etc. :P

I was already parked about 5 spaces from the faaaar end of the isle. To my left there was an open parking space and a vehicle in the adjacent space to that. To my right was an open space and a vehicle pulled in to the adjacent space as I was getting out of my car. I figured I was in the clear as I had an open space on either side of my car. Someone tried pulling through the empty spot on my right and hit the front of the car.

^^Well, that stinks. Open spaces: eliminate them. Go up against a curb and take an end stall: not an open end stall, or else you can get clipped/bashed.
