Welcome aboard, @Jonnytig! Thank you for signing up and congratulations on your new Stinger! When you have some time post a few pictures. :)

Welcome aboard jonnytig. I find out Tuesday when mine gets in. Probably the end of December. Please post pics when you get it and keep us posted on your upgrades but also on your initial opinions on performance, quality and North American engine sound.

What do you mean with "developing" an upgraded cooler, ...? To my US ears that sounds like you're building your own replacement.

Hey guys so i just picked her up...... wow just wow. Still cannot believe what an amazing car. It is increadibly well appointed inside and feels increadible to drive. Will clock up 1000km and put it on the dyno and do some base measurements. Then its off with the exhaust and we will custom fab something with a bit more flow and note. Cooler will be the next as the oem unit has a very short stacked height. One thing that has me a bit puzzled is the factory boost gauge. It runs to 40psi? I dont know exactly what boost is commanded standard maybe 1 bar? A 40psi gauge is well up there. Is this something Kia planned. I wonder how much boost we can push in before the rods get a bit bendy lol. Anyway heres a pic from today

Jon that looks like Wayne Phillis yard, down south.
What sort of exhaust are you looking at doing, something local.
May be a performance chip with a decent exhaust.
Awesome car waiting for mine to rollup.

Yup thats exactly where bud. Be designing n building it myself as thats what i specialize in with my business. Prob be a dual 3" system. Cooler def needs a upgrade aswell. Not too sure on tuning yet. Will see what the afrs are like on dyno How much longer till you get yours bud?

Hi Jon,

in case you had not already come across it there are a bunch of Ozzie guys posting through another discussion in this forum so please feel free to join the conversation here as well as it sounds like you could offer some great advice around exhausts and tuning to owners in our market:

and congratulations on the new toy!

Thanks
