Indeed. "North Coast". Not at all descriptive. Welcome regardless. :P

drive home from Maverick Center tonight got a little dicey...
I, was asleep. So was the Stinger, nursing her injured wheel.:D:(

After ordering my 19 Ceramic Silver/Red Interior GT1 at the end of December, I picked it up about 3 weeks ago. Needless to say it is a huge step up from my old 2003 Subaru WRX that I bought new. I think I've finally figured out all the settings/accessories/NAV/Android Auto/....etc. (this forum has been a big help as well as just reading the operators manuals front to back). I had a set of winter wheels/tires (18" Enkei TFRs w/ Blizzak WS80s) waiting to replace the factory 19's for winter. I've had it through three significant snows with no issues so far. It doesn't feel quite as sure footed as my old WRX w/ Blizzaks, but that old car was a mountain goat in snow. I couldn't be happier with this car--it's finally past 600 miles, so let the fun begin.

Congrats welcome to the forum and you chose the best color! Of course I am biased I have the same color. :)

New California Red GT limited owner from Edmonton Alberta. Didn't take delivery of the car yet since I didn't want to risk it with the 19 inch summer wheels on there. Looking for suggestions for a set of winter rims in Canada and where I can get them. Thank you.

As mentioned above, I went with 225/45R18 Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires on 18X8in rims. I really liked the Blizzaks I had on my 2003 Subaru WRX so I stuck with them. This square wheel/tire setup matches the sizes on the optional all season package and it allows for more flexible tire rotation than the 19in staggered summer tire setup that came on my Stinger. I like having separate winter/summer wheel & tire sets because I can swap them myself with just a floor jack and a jack stand(s). Heck, the Blizzaks on my old WRX lasted 10+ years and I didn't have the cost of unmounting/remounting tires twice a year. Online tire stores (tirerack, discounttiredirect in the US) can step you through the options for outfitting your Stinger--I got my winter wheel/tire set from Tirerack.com.

Did you guys need special spline kits to install your winter rims or were you able to install them using the OEM lugs that came with the 19" rims?

I have had to get new lugs and hub rings. Nothing out of the ordinary.
