Well the forum pop up said I should introduce myself so.. HELLO!

I just traded in my 2011 Civic Si and bought a 2021 Stinger GT2 this past Saturday.. I absolutely love it. Still in the break-in process with about 200 miles on it.

Just had a quick question for you people with experience.. What would you recommend to clean my leather with?? I was instantly told to stay away from ArmorAll.. I live in Florida and my sweaty arm already left a slight white layer on my arm rest!!

Thanks! Can't wait to really learn this car.

Welcome to the hive! Nice upgrade! ;)
For the leather I use The Chemical Guys sprayable leather cleaner and conditioner, but I'm pretty sure that the armrest isn't leather, so try the inner clean quick detailer, if the stain isn't too bad.

Thank you. I was actually lurking here for a couple of months before I pulled the trigger on buying. What a beautiful car this is!

Welcome to the friendly performance community. To your question, I haven’t even considered any leather or other interior cleaning products yet. Sounds to me like salt from sweat that should be easily removed with water. I wouldn’t go crazy with an array of potentially damaging solvents just yet.
Merlin?

Welcome! I've had my stinger for the last 6 months and have loved every second. I've been cleaning the interior with chemical guys leather cleaner and then use their leather conditioner. It works decent for me. =)

I think you're absolutely right. I just wasn't sure if it was leather or not! This is my first nice car so I figured it would be best to ask this forum for advice. In going to try a slightly damp cloth when I get home from work tomorrow.

Thank you for the advice.

Thank you. I've been hearing a lot of good things about the chemical guys products. I think when I'm ready to give the leather a cleaning I'll do just what you suggested.

Howdy and welcome. The genuine leather is only on the main seats. On either material, faux and genuine, I use distilled water (happens to have Optimum No Rinse in it too because I mostly use it on the outside to spot clean). But I never spray directly on the spot, only into the micro fiber or terrycloth hand towel. It nearly always does the job; if not, then I go to isopropyl alcohol, sparingly. So far, so good. :D

Thank you very much. This is really helpful information.

I use The Chemical Guys, and Auto Glym stuff pretty much exclusively, but I don't think you can get the Auto Glym stuff in the US, both work well, and aren't overpriced

I believe I've used ArmorAll a cpl times in the past with the Stinger - wasn't impressed. Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover on the headlights, glass, worked brilliantly.
10 out of 10.
