Just pulled the trigger on a new Scorpion addition AWD. Was heavily considering the new G70s as ive owned 3 prior and recent hyundia's and genesis's. I have always had an eye for the Stingers since they came out. I was still on the fence about the g70 until i saw this Stinger in all black being taken off the dealers delivery truck. sold! Now for window tint next week followed by ceramic coating the week after. This sucker is going to pop! FYI got it for 3k under MSRP!

Congrats and welcome

Hey Hogman2022,

Welcome to the Stinger Forum and congrats on your new Scorpion Edition Stinger!

I am shocked that you were able to get such a good deal on one, most people are paying way over MSRP currently.

It sounds like you are already modding the car a bit but if you are looking to take it to the next level, check out our website www.K8StingerStore.com.

Feel free to send me a message at any time, if you have any questions, need suggestions, or if you would like to receive a discount on your order.

Enjoy the new ride,
Daniel @ the K8 Stinger Store

One local dealer was charging a $4500 ADM fee bringing total to $61k. they werent budging so i walked out. found mine same evening somewhere else.

Beautiful!!!
Get some PPF on that front bumper as well!
Im looking into PPF now and getting some quotes. what kind of price is "fair"? vs overpriced for this car? ppf bumper only.. and also hood. just curious what you paid to compare.

I paid $1500 for PPF on just the front bumper cover, plus a two year ceramic coating on my 2019 Genesis G70. FYI.

Yep, I've seen them online for over $60k. You were smart to walk away from that dealer.

I got a quote for full hood and bumper PPF for $1650. That was for a S5, so a little less real estate to cover due to the huge grill and slightly shorter hood compared to the Stinger.

Pricing is all over the place. I got my entire front end done for $950 (they said the normal price was $1,500).

Yes, you're absolutely correct. Central Ohio is fortunate to have one of the best detailers in the world, Esoteric Detail, and I'll gladly pay a bit more for truly perfect work. I've been a customer of theirs since 2012, and have always been 100% satisified!

Welcome to your new home.

$1.500 was the price I was quoted + they wanted to keep the car for a week! I'm sure you know what I told them
They could just tell you that they'll come down in price, and let you have your car the next day: with a warning to not drive it much, if at all (if you can manage) and keep it out of direct sunlight for a week afterward, to let the moisture gas out through the plastic. The PPF really does much better if you don't expose it to driving force wind and sunlight for that first week (I found out years later: my installer said nada about any of that, and I went on a weeklong road trip within the next two days: my PPF pieces have a few small edge spots that lifted and got dirty - my first clue, far too late to do anything about: and, the body shop that offered PPF install no longer provides that service, go figure).

I get that truly I do and had taken all that into consideration since I already have a daily driver (the stinger ain't it) and the car stays parked in my shop, putting that aside the last time I left a super fast car somewhere to be worked on one of the employees decided he wanted to find out just how fast and wrapped it around a telephone pole! I'm not in a hurry to repeat that fiasco, looking at it like that I'm sure you understand my concerns
