Well, I was asking on both this site and the VW site if I was crazy for trading my VW Golf R (2013) for a Stinger. But after I got a great offer from Carvana (no, I don't work for them..) and getting a great deal on a 2018 GT2 (White, AWD.. exactly what I wanted) I am today the new owner.

I know I harped on the Kia salespeople before but I tell you what... this guy went above and beyond for me. I am super busy and he actually brought the car out to my house (about 15 miles away) to let me check it over and drive it. I was sold the minute I put it in sport mode and canned it... WOW. I thought my R felt fast... thing thing is a beast.

We got back to my house, confirmed the numbers and I drove him back to the dealership, wrote a check, and I was home before lunch.

Super excited! I know I made the right choice! The Golf is picked up next week by Carvana... I'll miss it, but not that much. ;)

I'm going to have to change my picture from Mumen Rider (Class C, rank 1) to Stinger (Class A rank 10). Probably not original now that I think about it.. haha!

Welcome and as you have experienced, it is a fun machine to drive. Enjoy the rides!

Welcome to the stinger family. It won't disappoint!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your Stinger GT! I’m glad you found us. :)

I did "warn" you about the test drive. I call it "the fatal test drive". It was for me. Test drive late Friday. Pondered and researched over the weekend, and long before Monday, I knew that if everything about the sale went without a hitch I was going to come home with a new Stinger. I was a prophet. :D

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

For me it was research, look at it in person... drive it and done. I didn't expect so much KICK!!! And I'm used to driving a 580+hp Camaro ZL1!

Welcome to the hive, and congrats on your new Stinger... If you are mod minded, I highly recommend doing front and rear sway bars, makes it so much sharper in handling... oh and post up some pics when you get a chance

Congrats on the Stinger! Enjoy and have fun with it.

You are obviously a very smart guy. The Stinger is a blast to drive. And, many here have traded in luxury vehicles with the so-called "best" brand names for the Stinger. And, they have never looked back unless they see their old car trying to keep up with their Stinger. :)

If you want a good new name, Steven Tyler will do. Just google Stinger 2018 Superbowl commercial.

Welcome and congrats. Another MN stinger here as well. What part of MN are you from? Minneapolis/Golden Valley here. Im especially interested in what dealer you were working with that you had such a good experience with the salesman if you don't mind sharing. My wife is on her 4th? Sportage (she leases and upgrades frequently) and with my Stinger thats quite a bit of kia dealer interactions. The lady at Invergrove I worked with was "fine" and we have been less than impressed with pretty much all of her interactions. Like the vehicles obviously, but...

Congratulations and welcome! You have made an awesome choice. Be prepared to have discussions about your car wherever you go!

I'm in Minneapolis proper, and purchased my Stinger and two other Kias from Luther Bloomington Kia. They are doing customer service right over there. I just had my silver window trim replaced because of some blemishes, and they did not hesitate to do the work at no cost.

Im south of Mankato.. out in the country where I like It.

Had to go into town today to have my daughter take her driving permit exam. They made me sit in the car (darn) so I went through every setting I could find. The salesman said I didn't have auto open trunk but the setting is there to turn on and off.. may have to try it out!
