Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of buying a 2023 GT2 for the kids. It has some aftermarket parts I'm looking to change out for stock as they don't like what it has currently. I came across this site on a Google search, saw what I needed, and signed up.

I'm also looking forward to help answering anything that may come up in the Kia world. We are new to that, so it'll be a learning experience.

You bought a modified Stinger "for the kids", and you want to change it back to stock. You are a unicorn on this forum. Lol. Even a stock Stinger, even a 2.0L or 2.5L, would be a whole lot of car "for the kids". And they get a 3.3L I wish you all well.

What mods are on it?

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I’m glad you found us. What might the Stinger GT be replacing?

It has aftermarket rims in gold that they don't like. I don't remember if it was this one or one of the others I've been looking at online, but it may have CAI's also, which is fine. I haven't seen the car in person yet, so the rims are the only thing I know for sure from the pictures.

It's not actually replacing anything. This will be the first car for them. They are used to driving my Chevy SS, which has about 450hp, so I'm not anticipating any real issues for them.

Ah, that's funny. Forget everything I said above, RWD, 450 horses, yeah the Stinger will be a doodle, especially if it happens to be AWD.

Ahh... Nice car, that Chevy SS. What year? Crazy how that car turned out to be so short-lived. Kinda like the Stinger. Great cars don't always stick around for some stupid reason...

It's a 2017. Made in Australia by Holden, a division of GM. It's a Commodore down under. It ended in 2017 when GM killed Holden off.
