Howdy. I’m the new guy I guess. Last week I purchased a 2023 Stinger GT2 AWD in Snow White. So far I’m really enjoying the car. It’s comfortable, quick and a joy to drive.

I’ll be checking out lots of threads and learning what I can from the group. Happy to be here. No great pics yet since the weather sucks but soon I’ll have some better pics. 7F9B0644-BC78-4906-8415-402B62876E50.webp

Congrats! Nice GT2 and there’s alot of info on the threads. I’m learning alot from everyone in here.

What did you upgrade from?

Welcome to the hive!

Thanks. TBH I am more of a 4wd guy and have been for 30+ years but I’ve had a couple fun cars along the way too. I’ve been driving a very modified Toyota Land Cruiser mostly. I still have it and it will mainly be a weekend and camping rig now. 1BBEFC37-3D20-47C4-BA48-3A7D2B408921.webp

I have three other Toyota pickups that are built rock crawlers. A 1980 (green/white one with full newer Tacoma drivetrain), 1985 (blue flatbed with Lexus V8), and a 1990 (red one with bobbed bed shortened 12”). They are all a blast.

But I’ve also had a Mitsubishi Evo and most recently a Honda Civic Si as a daily.

Oh man! I love 80 series! Still feel bad about selling mine. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Stinger GT! I'm glad you found us. :)

Impressive brodozers. Living in the SW having a capable off roader definitely expands the adventuring opportunities. Eventually we'll be heading in that direction for our second vehicle, haven't run out of things to do yet on the access roads we can get down in the CX5.

If you're ever at a gas station or market and notice an old creepy dude staring longingly at your car, tell Merlin we say hi.

lmao

If you see Merlin, be sure to step off the curb and get rear ended, then freak out.
I know that doesn't make much sense, but neither did the post I am referencing.
You know the thing.
Welcome.

Where I’m from a “brodozer” is a street queen lifted diesel truck. None of mine are diesel and they’re definitely not street queens.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for Merlin. He sounds sketchy.

Apparently I can no longer include any images with my posts. Not sure how I was able to include them in earlier posts but now I no longer have persmission (since I'm the new guy) and the restriction will get lifted at some undisclosed time.

Ah, my apologies. Everything lifted 'looks' the same to me, but I completely understand the distinction (and respect why it's worth making).

Welcome!

Nice Cruiser. I went from a 05 V8 4Runner to my Tundra now. Gotta love those Yota's

Congrats on the Stinger, but more congrats on the offroaders. Each and every one of them look tough-as, and that LandCruiser looks highly highly capable!

did you use the 'attach files' feature in the lower left corner or did you upload from the cloud or link? because if you did the latter you just got lucky. the 'attach files' button works for brand new accounts and always has.

Lets see if this works to post images again... This was a frowny face moment for the first week of ownership. Massive pothole! Anyone want to guess what the cost is of a replacement factory wheel? Haven't been able to drive the car for about a week and probably still most of this week until a new wheel comes in.

Ima going to guess about $635 for a new wheel. that damage looks fixable.

That's a couple hundred buck shy of MSRP through the dealer. But they also wanted to charge a mark up. Quoted me $1091 for a new wheel.
holy mackerel, that's pushing double what I priced a new gt wheel for in 2018, my price guess was what a gt wheel went for, ordered through the dealer, back then. I knew it would be more now, but didn't expect that much more.
