In my initial statement about the Stinger selling pretty well - it was in comparison to the Japanese competition.
July sales:
Stinger - 107
IS - 20
Q50 - 5
So, in comparison, the Stinger does, indeed, do pretty well.
It, in fact, holds up against the (non-German) European and American competition as well.
Giulia - 78
XE - 77
ATS - 14
Of course, the German brands are another matter, but that's another whole thing for various reasons.
Regarding Kia overall, the new Ceed should help and while the current Sportage is pretty nice as things go (in comparison to its competition), the next one should be a major step up.
It's pretty interesting how Kia (and Hyundai) do a good bit better in certain markets in Europe than others; in addition to how Kia outsells Hyundai in certain markets and vice versa in others.
