After the update about a month ago, I moved some settings around and it was pretty good on the Michelin’s, but also a bit hard. It works quite well on highways at speed and gives the car a buttoned down feeling. It’s odd that the system no longer allows me to set separate settings for front and rear, whatever I set at the front ends up the same at the rear, once I save the setting. Either way, this one works as a balanced sporty ride although, I plan on working to find a smoother setting to quell some of the firmness.

For the handling, I start at 32 and add 2 for each point, then bump up to 42 at 150 and end at 44 for 200 KMH.

Spent quite a few hours with this setting driving from Amarillo to Tempe, this was quite a good setting for the car, providing a comfortable sporty ride on those long stretch of highways. Things got a bit choppy from Flagstaff into Phoenix because of the roads not being so great, through the notational park but it got better further down 17. I was having so much fun on those windy up and downhill sections, the car was planted and the handling fantastic. I credit the BF Goodrich Comp 2 AS+ and the luggage in the hatch for making the car feel better that it has ever felt with any tuning of the Mando unit. Things felt so good, it didn’t realize I was traveling at such a high rate of speed.

All those left lane hoggers were quickly dispatched, Lexus IS, BMW X1 M, Audi Q3, all speed up trying to keep me from passing. Hit the downshift paddles a couple of times and blew past them, didn’t let off until they were properly dusted. My Stinger finally felt like a sporty GT sedan, with the only downside being the rotor vibration. Next upgrade, better rotors and pads all around.

Nice, I’m going to try those out. For 5 months I’ve been using the ECS10 on my G70, but only basic mode. Trying out the advanced maps and I’ll give this a shot as one of the custom modes.

Try this out if you’re looking for a sport + handling mode;
- Keep the compression (ride) relatively low and the rebound (handling) significantly higher. The compression should be set low enough to allow some “give” when you hit a bump, but also be stiff enough to provide some resistance for ironing out shocks. The rebound (handling) should be set relatively high because it provides good body control without significantly impacting the ride quality. It’ll prevent that floaty feeling and sort of suck the car to the road

- @ lower speeds: soften the front and stiffen the rear. This setup uses the rear suspension for body control while allowing the front wheels to maintain better contact with the road and provide more grip. It really livens up the steering/front end sharpness.

- @ higher speeds: majority stiffness transfers to the front. Here the front suspension controls the body so that the rear suspension can position the rear wheels for maximum grip. Dynamically this results in better high speed stability.

Whenever I want to maximize fun in the corners, I switch to the custom mode I named “Dialed”. It feels like everything tightens up. Steering becomes super sharp, and feels amazing. Grip isn’t an issue. I have AWD, limited slip diff and Brembos so the computer always finds a way to sling me out of a corner. Admittedly the setup is on the stiffer side. Not unbearable, but I don’t use this mode unless I’m driving spiritedly. Try it out and let me know what you think. It’s;

Dialed Mode
FrontRear
Ride (Compression)29%40%
Handling (Rebound)48%75%
