Hello all, on Tuesday I became an owner of a brand new 2019 Stinger GT2 AWD in Hichroma Red. I’ve never owned a Kia before. Hoping for the same reliability of the Honda’s, Toyota’s, and Mazda I’ve previously owned.

I had test driven a 2019 Genesis G70 with Elite and Prestige packages about a week ago and really enjoyed the acceleration, advanced technology features, and interior. When the dealers didn’t seem to want to get anywhere near a price I felt was acceptable I started giving more thought to the Kia Stinger.

I really wanted a fun, fast daily driver. My previous daily driver, which I still own, was a 2006 Honda Accord. I’ve owned it for 9 years and its been very reliable and has served me well on many long trips and journeys. The dealerships weren’t willing to give me enough trade-in value for it so I’ll be private selling it.

I’m also the owner of a 2003 Toyota MR-2 Spyder convertible and 2017 Toyota Tacoma V6 with 4WD. I may also end up selling the Spyder so I can get my stable of vehicles down to 2 with the Stinger and Tacoma remaining.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Stinger GT! That's a nice upgrade from the Accord - which is also a nice car... :) I'm glad you found us!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Hey NIU_Huskies,

Welcome to the Stinger Forums and congrats on your new Hichroma Red Stinger GT2! It looks like you have had some great cars in the past and I hope you are able to enjoy your Stinger in the same way. So far the Stinger, in both its engine variations, has remained a reliable car and the warranty offered by Kia is one of the best out there. Only time will tell if the 3.3 can live up to the level of reliability of Honda and Toyota engines of the past. If you are looking to rebadge your new car, you will want to check out our End of the Year SALE tomorrow starting at 5pm pst at www.k8stingerstore.com. We are the largest Stinger specific aftermarket company and this sale is going to be the biggest of the year and a perfect time for you to get some of the things you are looking for at a great discount. Feel free to message me any time if you have any questions about the products we carry.

- Daniel
