Just purchased this 2019 KIA STINGER GT2 AWD with 47k on the odometer and am really enjoying this amazing grand touring machine.
Added a few items such as the carbon fiber rear deck spoiler and the OEM splash guards. Also had the SC300 Recall just done for the LH TURBO OIL FEED LINE and a full synthetic oil change.
I am looking forward to maintaining this vehicle, and learning from other’s experiences, as this car just “checked all of the boxes” for me…great styling, awesome power and everything in terms of amenities.
I think If my GT2 was an airplane…it would be a B1B Lancer Bomber with full afterburners kicked in…love just rolling on the power!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! And congratulations on your new Stinger. What did the Stinger replace for you?

2009 Nissan Maxima SV with a Stillen CAI and 200,000 on the odometer. Replacing it came down to either a Chevrolet SS (Commodore) or a Stinger. Both I feel are amazing cars, but like the Stingers styling and hatchback along with everything else.

Great cars, those Maximas. And I also love the Chevrolet SS. But as far as styling is concerned, the Stinger has it over the SS. The SS is a nice sleeper but definitely sounds ballsy when accelerating.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Hey @ezFrank1,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Stinger!

Looking good already, did you have any more modifications planned?
Just planning on enjoying my GT2 in its current state for awhile. May install a CAI next year. It’s got 19 inch staggered wheels now but will look around for a decent set of 18 inch rims/tires for winter use.

That's a great plan. I would love to help you out with the CAI when the time comes!

When I took the GT2 AWD in for the SC300 turbo line recall I also asked the KIA dealership about a ticking noise under the hood that lasts for about 30 seconds on startup then stops. From what I have heard online, it sounds like it might be the noise that typically occurs with the high speed fuel pump. If that’s what it is, then hopefully that is benign and won’t aggravate into something that needs repair.
