Hey gang, just picked up a used 2018 Silky Silver. Looking forward to some tuxmats and dipping my toes into modding power train and suspension to a Level 1 or 1.5 over time. From the Atlanta area!

Hey what part of town are you in? I live up in Cumming and commute to Norcross.

I have a silky silver 2.0 as well. I've done the springs, sways, Racechip, intake (since removed but still have it in a box), and some other mods.

Hi. There is the slimmest chance that I will spot the both or either of you in a couple of months, as my daughter lives in Decatur and we will be visiting because of a new baby. Etc. :D

I'm in Brookhaven, commuting to Alpharetta. Sadly very few corners in my commute ;)

How are you liking the changes? What dealer are you going to for warranty work? I would like to find a performance-oriented dealer that would not call the gestapo once they see some light modding. What happened to your intake, not worth the money?

We bought the Sting because my 02 RX300 had 250k and was ready to go to pasture, and we have a 3mo old. Was a 'fun' sell to the wife on this car :sneaky: now she doesn't want to ever take the CR-V haha

Hmm. Not much chance, then, of a Silky Sliver spotting other Silky Silvers (you two), unless I go north and cruise around looking. :P

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I take my car to Lou Sobh Kia in Cumming. They have been good with warranty work and had no problem with the aftermarket intake. But they're probably too far out for you.

Regarding the intake, I took it off because I just thought it was a little too noisy for my tastes. It was fun while I had it on.

That's great, I actually have a friend that lives close there, I took my Lexus there once to be detailed. They did a fantastic job. Did you have to take the software you added off as well or did they not care about that either?

I take the racechip off when I go in for service (only takes a few minutes), but left the intake on for a couple visits including issues that was covered under warranty.
