Just bought a used 2022 Stinger GT2 Scorpion Edition AWD in Snow White Pearl. The only thing i wish it had was the red interior. I was really shocked at how comfortable and fast it was. Looking forward to learning all about the car and possible minor modifications from everyone’s experiences.

Traded in a 2020 Camaro ZL1.

PA gang! Congrats on the purchase. I came from a Camaro as well--a 2019 V6. So the Stinger is a rocket by comparison. Although I really miss the Camaro V6's exhaust note. Why did you trade your ZL1?

The Camaro is a looker, sounds great and frankly is a world class handling car. That being said, I turn 50 in a month and something more practical but still exciting is more important to me now than just the raw experience.

The downside to the ZL1 is that it is too much power for the street and the limited ergonomics does get old after awhile.

Yeah that was the main reason I traded my Camaro as well. It would be great as a second/fun car. However as a primary car it just wasn't enough. I sometimes have 3 adults in the car and the Camaro was terrible for that. Plus the crappy trunk, and lack of interior storage really wore on me. The Stinger comes with AWD which is nice for my region as well since we have many hills. The Stinger is just a great jack of all trades car for the price point and features you get.

Funny you mention too much power for the street. Everytime I upgrade to a faster car I say this is more than enough power! I can't imagine wanting more power now. I'm already at very illegal speeds very quickly in this car. I just don't see the point in having more power. If I ever have the space/$$$ for an additional car I would probably go the BRZ/GR86 route.

I have a very short zl1 story from today. on my bicycle I was waiting in the left turn lane and this suv comes toward me weaving and I am thinking wth? then I see the camaro behind it, that bright yellow color, and it's weaving too and they pass me weaving back and forth, it was obvious that for some reason the suv driver was blocking the camaro and the muscle car driver wanted to get past the suv. I turned left and said out loud, 'play nicely' like sending a prayer their way, and, 'or else you'll prove why you can't have nice things.' hope they worked out their differences without mishap. and yes of course, Ima glad that I survived their foolishness to tell the tale.
