Hey there!

Just purchased a GT2 AWD in Ceramic Silver with black interior. Traded in my 2017 Mustang GT/CS because I really needed a more practical daily driver. Had it narrowed down to the Charger and Stinger - went and test drove the Stinger first. Never even made it to the Dodge dealer. Going on two weeks in and I absolutely love this car!

So far she's had Suntek PPF installed on the front and red Rim Blades added...but definitely thinking about more substantial mods in the near future!

Congrats! Did you get it from the Raleigh Store or Hendrick in Cary?

I picked up a 19 GT2 from Hendrick last week. Well that and a Telluride and a Rio as well.

I bought mine at Hendrick in Cary, too. Did they throw in the Rio for free? :D

not free but we did get a really good deal on it. The Telluride will have to be at list but they are going to give us a very good price on our trade in.

Hendrick is the best available in the area. Durham is probably the worst, although I think they are (or were) in the process of rebuilding. I don't like how congested Fred Anderson's lot is.

Welcome, "Boiler". :) Hopefully you won't NEED those spiff rim protectors. (says the "king" of curb rashing:rolleyes: )

Awesome congrats! definitely the retro ugly and cheapo Mustang interior you will never miss. Beautiful color and like those Rim accents.

When you get a chance can you add to the "what did you pay" thread? Seems from your posts that you kept up well on pricing, and it'd be helpful to know what kind of numbers you were able to get with latest incentives.

My comment above was in specific reference to the 2020 Rio that we bought last week. We got a rock bottom price on that particular vehicle. Partly because it was the 3rd vehicle that week that we had purchased from them.

I am not sure if I am going to post about the deal I made on the Stinger in that thread. I got the discount I wanted because I had the Competitive bonus(I was eligible for loyalty as well but those don’t stack).

However, I got NewCarItis and made some rash decisions. I rolled $2,000 into the loan from my INFINITI Q50 lease and I honestly just got suckered into the extended warranty. Those two things will make my deal look REALLY bad compared to what is possible if you are patient.

That being said I got zero percent financing for 75 months with zero money down. The extended warranty is refundable if I don’t use all of it so that makes it an easier pill to swallow.

My deal just isn’t a good reference for everyone because we spent over $100k with that dealer last week alone.

Let me just say that the Stinger discounts are there and the no interest for 75 months does workout to a significant chunk of change if you keep the car for the whole term of the loan.

However, don’t make the mistake I made. Patience is the key. Don’t roll any money into it. Try to avoid any additional warranties and just keep insisting on getting every dollar of discount that you can.

How much was the extended warranty if you don’t mind my asking? It’s something I’m actually considering since the repair cost of the Stinger is relatively high out of warranty. I’ll probably keep mine at least a couple years past the limited warranty.

Don’t feel bad about not waiting for the absolute best deal - time is money and it can take a long time to grind out deals. Even then, dealers in your area may not come close to what those in different parts of the country can get. 0% for 75 months is awesome. What did the incentives amount to on the Stinger?

IMG_20190818_203740_217.webp Raleigh, NC here also! I have a 2018 AWD Micro Blue stinger. I also got mine from Hendrick Kia. The service center is actually pretty good. I went in last month about brake issues and with no questions asked they turned them for me to fix the nasty shuddering while braking. I also am getting 2 trim pieces replaced under warranty no questions asked. They may be a little slow and don't communicate well during the service time but the work got done! I love the red rim blades. I saw someone do the same thing after they plasti dipped them black. It looked SOO GOOD. See you out there on the roads!

I bought my base in Durham at the new lot, I was treated pretty well by the staff, and got what I thought was a good price. I've heard Fred Anderson isn't great.
