New GT2 Owner Here and loving it! :-)

Hey everybody! Traded in my Audi for a one-owner mint condition pre-owned 2020 GT2 on 3/23. A gorgeous Snow White Pearl with the rare Red interior and only 18k miles. I had been contemplating getting one since last year and it took a while to find the right color & interior that I wanted since pre-owned inventory is low and even lower now due the onset of spring and the continuing chip shortage. I had been a VW/Audi owner for the past 30 years but the stinger GT2 is the most well equipped and smoothest riding car I have ever owned. I just received and installed the OEM all weather cargo tray this evening for starters. Looking at an aftermarket remote start next and some AFE Pro-dry drop-in filters next after an oil change next week. Glad to be a stinger owner - we’re such a rare breed

Simple plug-and-play if you dont want take-over, if you do want take over then it is just 2 easy to get to wires that need to be manually tapped into.

I traded in my 2015 Audi SQ5. Sepang Blue with the Magma Red interior - I'm a sucker for the red interior it really makes your car pop.

Absolutely! While waiting to find the right stinger I heavily researched the do's and don'ts posted by current owners and don't like the fact that the OEM remote start turns off the engine when you open the door - defeats the whole purpose. None of the other cars in my household that have factory remote starts do this. Weird thinking - just my $.02

Thanks! Prices are definitely at both ends of the spectrum and inventory is low too. I was at a crossroads between two 2020 GT2s - one Federation Orange with black leather and the other Snow White Pearl with the red interior. For me the red interior makes the white (or any color) really pop in contrast. I was under the impression Federation Orange was exclusive to the GTS but it appears Kia offered it on the 2020 GT2 as well.
