New GT2 for Me!

Hi All!
I just bought this '19 GT2 yesterday and looking forward to learning all about it here. I was keeping an eye out for a white or red GT2 to maybe replace my '16 Maxima Platinum and then I saw an ad for $10K off at Ricart Kia here in Columbus, OH. Drove it. Loved it. The Corvette goes up on the lift soon and the GT will be the daily driver. I kinda hope we have a snowy winter to try the AWD. At these prices, the value was too good to pass up. Had them throw in the remote start as part of the deal and with some arm twisting, I was VERY happy with my OTD price.

First up is figuring out how to hardwire the dashcam and radar detector. Any suggestions are appreciated for a switched fuse to use.

Anyway, thanks for the add to the group and I hope to be a contributor more than a lurker in the near future.

Welcome and congrats. A radar detector would be very handy on the Stinger.

Welcome to the forum.
I hard wired my radar detector and dash cam to the center overhead console power. Takes about 10 minutes. There is a thread on this forum that contains excellent thorough directions and pictures. Here is a link: Anyone hardwire a radar detector yet?

Howdy. AWD is amazing in the snow, even with summer tires. Just be sedate about it (and get your winter treads on as soon as possible). A couple of weeks back we had c. 3" of snow and I didn't skid once (the very next day I had my A/S tires put on, and then the crap really started to come down; and turned to ice as well). Put your location in your profile. It helps in conversations about driving conditions, etc.
