New GT-Line Owner

Hey everyone, picked up a 21’ Snow White Pearl Gt-Line this weekend. Loving it so far. This is my 4th Kia and definitely the most fun to drive. Although I loved zipping around in my Rio 8 years ago also lol.

I’ve been lurking in here for a few weeks to get as much info as I could on the Stinger prior to purchasing. Figured now that I own one I might as well join.

Well here are some pics of the new addition to the family.

Welcome! Also a 2021 GT Line owner. Looks like you have the sun and sound package on yours. (I see the sunroof in the photos). Do you have AWD and the red leather seating? Great color choice by the way!

Thanks! Yep, red leather and AWD. Really love the car. Kia really did well with this one. One knit pick is no memory seats. Told my wife she has to memorize exactly how I set my seats/mirrors and put it back before she gets out lol. So I guess I’ll be fiddling with the seats every time she drives it smh.

Ahhh, the twin of my Stinger! I know what you mean! My optima SXL had seat memory and air conditioned front seats which my Stinger doesn’t. But I gained bigger brakes, paddle shifters, a hatch back, better steering and handling, and way more style!

For sure! The car is great! I’ll be commuting almost 600 miles per week starting in September so I needed something with pretty good gas mileage, comfortable, and still be able to have some fun every now and then. Was also looking at K5’s but I already see so many of them on the road. Haven’t seen another Stinger on the road since I picked it up and I like that.

I actually went to the dealer to buy another K5 (Optima) which would have been my third. When I saw it, I didn’t care for it at all. Didn’t like rear fascia treatment, and I especially disliked the z shaped parking lights on the front end. When I saw the Stinger GT Line, it was a gotta have, and it was less than the K5 I looked at. Best car I’ve had since the 340 Challenger I bought brand new when I was 18 years old.

The rear of the K5 grew on me but on my way to a graduation 2 weeks ago I saw at least 7 or 8 of them on the road and just decided to look for the Stinger because I liked the look much better anyway. I catch myself looking at my driveway camera just to admire the car lol.

I’ve had my Stinger for two and a half months now, and have never seen another anywhere I’ve been. I like that they’re not a dime a dozen automobile.

Congrats! So how did you get the GT wheels on the GT-Line? I'm waiting for my 2022 GT-Line but I'd love to use 2 sets of the front wheels from the first gen Stinger GT for mine - so they aren't staggered sizes. BTW - My avatar pic is of my old 2018 Stinger GT2.

My 2021 GT Line has the same wheels. The only difference is that on the GT Line they’re 18”
