Hey guys/gals
Picked up a 2019 GT limited last weekend in snow white pearl. Been lurking around here for a few months as I was looking to replace our family hauler Camry with something new. This is mainly the wifey's car at the moment.

I have been a car and motorcycle enthusiast pretty much my whole life and we wanted something a bit more exciting than your regular cookie cutter sedans. Didn't want to pay for a German sedan and given here in Canada an Accord, Camry, Mazda 6 are approaching or over $40k with little discounts, the Stinger was a no brainer.

Look forward to learning more things about the car from what I already know. Hoping this will be a reliable vehicle for us and I'm going to try my best not to mod it lol....maybe just an exhaust.

Other toys in my life....
2014 Focus ST modded
2017 Focus RS modded
2011 Ducati Monster 796

So far loving the Stinger, it has a unique and muscular look to it. It's comfortable and powerful too. Too cold here and on winter tires as of yesterday so haven't put it's handling to the test yet .

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on the brand new Stinger GT! Nice upgrade from the Camry. And I know what you mean about the prices are those mundane family sedans. The Stinger really is a no brainer.

How modded are your other toys? Are they faster than the Stinger? Obviously, the Ducati is faster. :p

Thanks for the welcome. It was between the Fusion Sport (which they don't make anymore in Canada), the Mazda 6, and the Stinger. Loved all those cars but ultimately the Stinger won.
As for Mods, the ST has Stratified tune, Rear Moto mount, air filter, intercooler, Mountune exhaust, some shifter mods.
The RS has Stratified tune, Mountune lowering springs, shifter modifications, Cobb catback exhaust, Flow designs full splitter kit. Might have missed some other stuff lol.

Power wise, I think stock for stock the RS and stinger a pretty evenly matched 0-100km/hr. Hard to judge, the stinger feels meaty and powerful but much heavier than either Focus. The ST and RS are much more engaging and soulful if that makes sense, but they are a different type of car compared to the Stinger. Can't really compare. Having said that, the Stinger is still awesome for sure

Welcome aboard and congratulations!

Great choice. We all know SWP is the fastest color :D

Welcome. "Meaty and powerful", yes those are good descriptors of the GT Stinger. My wife has a 2006 Fusion. Tinny and clamorous describes it pretty well. Before the Stinger entered our lives, it was "the new car" (twelve years less old than my '94 Voyager  ); now it is "the old car". But it has low miles and runs very well and there's nothing wrong with that car as transportation; comfortable transportation at that. The Stinger is a whole class of comfort and performance beyond, of course.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
