• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Hey guys, (maybe girls)
New to the site.Just ordered a 2020 Stinger GT.
Any advice for new owners?

The wheelbase is longer than it looks.
Take any turn too tight and kiss finish goodbye on a $500 rim.
Thought I had it figured out and 16,000 miles later I barely kissed curb leaving a parking lot, thought it was just tire but about cried two days ago when I noticed edge of rim...

Cheers mate. It's my first new car in a while.

You are going to love it. I can say over 16,000 miles later every time I am getting in or out of that vehicle, a smile is on my face. I think you will be happy. Congratulations!

I can't wait till the dealership call me to come get it. Mines snow white pearl too. Did you put a wax right away? She's my new baby.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Ouch....... that sucks. Only takes a second and the pain endures.

I would invest more on a decent detailer to paint correct and ad ceramic coating.

In had a ton of spider Web style marks on mine

Advice, just enjoy it, but watch those wheels!

G’day @Mappo, welcome to the forum & congratulations on your new purchase.
My advice, get used to the car & learn all the features it has to offer, if your into modding then there is a ton of stuff to take in here on the forum & also on the Facebook sites.
But overall enjoy what it has to offer.

Welcome aboard. Use the 360° camera when you park it’s the best thing ever to avoid hitting anything. The car has some blind spots so the camera is worth it’s weight in gold. As @ShannonC and @Stinger GT SS said just enjoy it, but be warned it is a potential licence killer if you’re not careful.

Welcome and congrats Mappo. Which state are you from? Did you order the bimodal exhaust? You will love the car. It comes with a warning. It's an addiction, you will just have to drive it all the time.

Welcome to the hive! And congrats... Advice? Drive it, enjoy it, and be prepared for people to stop you and ask you questions about it!

I am also new to this site. In fact, just joined.
I picked up my black beauty (Night Sky edition) late March and also had to get used to a few things.
Get used to the following:
Wanting to drive it as often as possible for any reason because it is a wonderful experience and because you can.
Your cheeks are going to hurt due to the constant smile on your face every time you look at it and drive it
People wanting to look over the car because it is stunning looking
People wanting to chat to you about it because they are stunned by it
Constantly washing it because it always must be in pristine condition
It will attract attention from the Police because of what it is
Enjoy you new car as much as I do mine
