New brake pads shifting??

I recently upgraded to drilled/slotted rotors and pads from dba. Now my pads seem to shift back and forth just a bit when changing directions, ie..backing into a spot or pulling forward after backing up. They work well and no issues stopping. I have double checked all of my installation, including hardware, but the pads seem to have a bit of play " due to what seems to be slotted holes" in the pads. Anyone else having this?

Check the shim thickness compared to OE. I’ve seen aftermarket pads use 0.8mm thick shims and OE are approx 1.2mm thick. The shims wrap around each end of the pad and effect the overall length. Fit the old shims on the new pad and and it will fix the problem.
