New 21 GT2 coming from 03 Vette Z with 650 HP

My Corvette is a weekend car with a supercharger, headers, cam etc so its loud but fun to drive with that power. My daily is a 180hp Nissan and decided i wanted my Daily, while not as much power as my vette, would keep me excited with enough power and torque to feel somewhat like the vette. Well after driving many cars and researching several vehicles (almost bought a TLX type S)) i came upon the Kia Stinger. Instantly the low end torque of my test drive convinced me this is the car to buy. So now i am enjoying a RWD 21 Stinger GT2.....Just ordered JB4 for a little more power.

Thanks so much. Looks like a big following on this car. I get stopped all the time being asked "what is that". I ordered the JB4 today and like everything, there is so much confusion on the different maps, so i am sure i will test 1 and 2. (over 3 not for me right now). Car only has 5k miles and i use 93 Shell gas all the time and would like to use 1 and 2 without a plug change or regap. Is this possible. If not, of course, i have all the tools and a shop, but just hate to wrench on a brand new car.

Welcome! I was sold after the test drive too! The low-end torque is one of the best parts of this car, you'll beat 90% of cars from a dig.

as for the plugs question, no its not possible, you'll need to at the very least regap the stock plugs for Map 1. Map 2 you'll definitely want colder plugs with proper gapping.

I've had a long term goal of doing something similar (older model Vette as the weekend car). Just haven't put a plan in place yet to make it happen financially, no hurry now with the car prices off the charts. I guess what I'm saying is, great minds think alike.

[I could be swayed into a newer mid-engine Vette, but doubt the prices on those will be low enough for any consideration when that day comes]
