Need warranty transfer information when buying our leased Stinger

Wife wishes to purchase her 2018 Stinger, coming off 3 year lease in 2 weeks.

KIA dealer states, but cannot back up with any KIA documents, that the 10 yr/100k warranty along with the 5 yr bumper to bumper (less radio) warranty will transfer since there was no other owner of the vehicle. As you know if a used KIA is purchased the 10 yr 100 k mile warranty does not transfer to the buyer.

I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this or any information from KIA that is more than a verbal commitment on the warranty being valid if she purchases the vehicle.

For once they're right. It's in the warranty booklet; it transfers if the original lessee purchases the vehicle outright.

I will dig that book out and read it, should have thought of that before!

The there is the sound system warranty, I think we should extend that somehow.
