Anyone have any info, videos, etc explaining or showing how i go about removing the old and installing the new entire mirror assembly? Please let me know.

I appreciate your response but the attachment pertains to the door switches and the components and repair (if needed) to the window harness, nothing about how to remove the mirror assembly itself. Thank you though!

thank you, i saw that video. now i just need to find a replacement mirror assembly with the correct feautures. I've looked everywhere and some have memory and blind spot but no auto dimming or a variety of the three. i need all 3. if you have any idea where i could find one let me know. ive checked all oem sites, ebay, etc.

I am assuming you "bought it now".

That's a steal
Hell yeah it is. i did buy one but not that exact one. I found out that one only had blind spot detection. I needed blind spot, memory, and auto heated. I ended up finding one with all those features for about $270. Not a single scratch on it, the only fault was a bunch of sticker adhesive on the black chrome which i could easily replace with mine (thats the only part on my mirror that did get damaged) and water marks on the mirror that obviously can be wiped off. Should have it by Thursday.

He has it listed as a 2018-2020 but I have a 2021 so i called kia and they confirmed that PN: 87610-J5540 or the newer PN: 87610-J5540DCH are both are compatible with my VIN.

Not gunna lie though im pretty fkn nervous about removing/replacing this bugger. I've done plenty under the hood and under the car but body work is new territory to me.

I followed this video and my mirror was off in less than 10 minutes. very easy project.

This is why i always do my work myself. I went to 4 different shops located in my area and the cheapest quote i was given was....

Labor: 2.5 hours @ $90/hr = $225.00
Parts: $950.15 (not really sure how when OEM costs $484.15
Total: $1,175.15! Absolute fckn insanity.

That's not including the infamous pre repair scan & post repair scan that was quoted at $598.00 and 1 hr of labor and the sublet vehicle calibration (whatever the f*ck that is) for another $399.00 and another hour of labor. so grand total would've been $2,352.15! oh i forgot to include sales tax of $308.04 so it would've actually been $2,660.19 out the door. Where im from there's a word for this. 4 letters, starts with an R, ends with an E. Rhymes with ape.

Doing it myself; grand total: $257.71 and 20 minutes of my time.
