Need Splitter Rods?

I want to put a front splitter on my 2018 GT2. I've seen kits with and without support rods. Are they necessary?

Depends whether you expect it to be mostly cosmetic, or to generate meaningful aerodynamic forces that would overpower 3M tape.

Good point. 3M tape works in many places but considering the speed I normally drive I shouldn't trust it up front. I have braces on my small motorcycle fairing, so duh on me!
