• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Hello there, I am wondering if anyone knows have to access the harness under and behind glove box? I hate the Kia Connect App and remote start so I decided to buy the Accessorides starter. When I removed the panel under glove box, the harness I have is completely blocked by a metal bracket and I don't know how to remove. I see two bolts and Ive removed the nuts from them but not sure if this will do it or not and if those bolts hold the whole harness in place. I have attached a couple pics of the area. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Bryan

On your first pic it looks like a ”spring” type clip on the top of the cover, check if it has one on the bottom & maybe they lift to remove the cover.

Thanks but I think its a solid bracket riveted to the canbus. I could probably cut it but it's risky with all the wire and using a Dremel or something

"Cut it"??!! Talk to @General_Vodka he knows everything about that area (including that the TPMS sending unit connections are there, he told me that much).

^^^No, no, and no. No cutting!

No it's not. I wonder if there is a Canadian version of this guide as the bracket is only for Canadian market
