Need help posting sound clips or videos

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place for these questions but I can’t seem to upload sound clips or .mov videos.

I don’t see anywhere I can upload a sound file. And when I try to upload a short video, no matter the length, it always says “the upload file is too large”?!?

I’ve seen both long videos and sound clips on other threads so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Anyone know how to upload directly to the thread instead of having to share a link or embed it on a website like YouTube?

The exact same thing has happened to me a while back, no matter how much i compressed the file, or changed the format, same message also " the upload file is too large ", still do not know what to do.

No work around if the file is too big you can’t upload it. I would think it’s limited to about 10mb like emails but don’t quote me on that one.

Thanks for the help, but I even tried a 1 second only 300kb video and it still shows the same error.

I’ve seen many threads with long videos that work, so I’m guessing there must be something else blocking the upload. It seems like it could be the file type or extension(.mov) that is not being accepted? Are there only certain file types allowed for uploads?

Also, is there a way to upload sound clips instead, or only images & videos can be posted?
