So I have the TCU and ECU from lozic. The ECU seems to be kind of underpowered compared to the TCU, so I asked SweetBoyed to create a new one, and he said best method is to send the boost pressure graphs for the various gears. I went to my mechanic, and he said neither his diagnostic tool, nor an OBD(which were the methods recommended to me) would be able to display this, though a laptop might, but I'd need to buy some kind of Kia specific scanner.
I also need to install the preset stock Transmission values into the new TCU, and was told to use a diagnostic tool to copy them from stock, and then paste them into the tuned TCU. When I asked about that from my mechanic, he said the only way that'd be done is with a laptop, not a regular diagnostic tool, and I'd need to copy it onto the laptop, then carry it over when connected to the new TCU. Until that's done my PRND indicator at the center console is blinking irregardless of what position it's in.
Does anyone have a method I can use to solve both problems? Or just solving one would be good enough if anything!

What what and what? The TCU doesn't generate any kind of power at all, It just changes shift timing, values, and pressure. The ECU does everything else.
What Lozic is requesting is a diagnostic file that is generated by a logging tool such as the JB4 or Lap3 Pro tuner. You shouldn't be going to any backwoods mechanic or dealership when it comes to Tuned anything with these cars, 99.9% of them WILL NOT know what they are doing and WILL mess your car up.

Yeah, I know, I have the TCU and ECU. I'm needing to replace my ECU, and my TCU needs to be tuned to fit my stock transmission numbers, otherwise the drive indicator keeps blinking. Lozic said I need to input the correct stock TCU numbers into the tuned one, either through the diagnostic tool(which I haven't found one which works), or through physically inputting them into the transmission after lifting the car
Also that for a perfect new ECU to be made which utilizes power most efficiently I need to provide logs of the boost pressure graph.

So let me get this clear here, did lozic provide the TCU for you? or did you buy it used? Just wanna make sure all the facts are visible. as for the ECU, yes, you need logs if you are having issues. I would try and find a used JB4 for a couple hundred dollars and use that as a logging device.

Thoroughly confused by the post and I have the same questions! Did you get both ECU and TCU from Lozic or are you mixing and matching? If you did then what prevents you from putting your original TCU in with Lozic ECU to isolate the problem or doing the reverse?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Both are from lozic, directly, not bought used or from a supplier. I do swap out the TCU with stock, but how would that help me isolate the codes/information I need to input into my transmission itself?

What is the issue with using the stock TCU while you send the other back to Lozic for corrections? I think you may be going down a bad path trying to work on TCU and ECU yourself or taking them to a shop! Just my thoughts!

Wow.
I'm not aware of any method for a DIYer to do what they're asking. I'm shocked they even asked that. "scan tools" certainly can't, at least until you get up in the $1,000 range at a minimum. Even then, support for this kind of function is iffy.

A local tuner that specializes in Kia/Hyundai might be able to help.

You could get the logs they're looking for by using a JB4, but the logging fidelity is terrible (roughly one sample every 1.5 seconds). Also bizarre that they want logs for a stock car. They should be just handing you a canned tune unless there's something much more complex going on.

Well lozic told me to do it, I was told it's simple. I'm not seeing the simplicity, so I asked the community because I can obviously just be lacking the knowledge, it might actually be simple, and I wouldn't know.
Yeah I was told by the shop I went to that to do the stuff required I'd need a diagnostic tool costing a few thousand. Or to use a laptop, so I was curious if anyone had a suggestion on how the laptop trick works, as the shop didn't have codes to upload into a laptop to work on a Kia, which they said costs thousand+ too...
