Hi All
Based in Melbourne vic, ready to buy GT , can't wait. Going through the motions with the dealers at the moment, you would think they don't want to sell cars. Don't see me first come and see me last lol, hmm no!

Wondering if the bimodal is worth it, I leave for the airport early most weeks and heard it starts active, which won't please the wife.

Looking forward to more reading on this forum, and making a few mods

Preference is red but if the wait is too long or they stand firm on price then silky silver. Have had a price of 61 for my 19 wilts tint and mats.
I'm about 70k from the airport

I’m starting to believe the Kia bi-modal may be worth the extra $$$, all the aftermarket units have drone & vibration issues, plus I note a lot have removed them & offered for sale.
At least with the Kia version you get warranty etc if any issues arise, @ShannonC who has the Kia bi-modal fitted & he should be able to offer advice.

I watched a video of 3 different ones on YouTube and it certainly sounds awesome.

Bought a Hi Chroma Red GT Yesterday, but have few weeks wait on delivery, so a bit of time to decide on the exhaust and clear bra and ceramic

The only other exhaust I was considering is the X-Force Varex Bi-Modal System, this sound the best IMHO, but have very little info on drone.

Love my Bi-Modal. Had a relatively minor issue with a retaining pin either left off or worked free and KIA insisted on replacing the entire unit so there's absolutely no issues with warranty.
On a cold start it does sound loud but after engaging Drive mode quietens down. Sports mode is awesome as is downshifting in any mode.
I haven't had experience with other systems so am probably a little biased. As for drone, IMO it's not noticeable - all I can say is that it sounds like a V6 twin turbo.

I've experienced all three, In hind site the Xforce varex would be a save bet it has a switch which you can change from quiet to loud. Worth investigating it's on you tube c/o Tony's mufflers.

Ok, so has anyone here actually got the Xforce Varex catback AND fitted the smarbox controller. Equates to around the same money as the Kia bimodal, however with the smartbox it would seem you might have far more customised control ... but no kia warranty, if that's important? I am sure Xforce would have it's own warranty.

Bump. I know that an exhaust is on the cards for me. Anybody out there have a Tony's mufflers system or any other exhaust system using the Varex mufflers ? This sounds great from the clip and it has the remote controlled valve system. So just after some feedback. I tried to post a link to the vid, but can't as I am new.

If I was to do an exhaust & after lots of research 2 years ago Varex X-Force would be my preferred choice.

Do know much about Tony’s mufflers but I know Castle Hill Exhaust/Performance does the Varex system
