Detailed guidance is enabled in settings.

Option 13, accord to the nav manual (MY22) is to show/hide the detailed guidance.

What's odd, is that button isn't always present when navigating to a destination. Sometimes it's there, sometimes not. Pressing on the streetname to the left (of 13) does nothing. Pressing #12 brings up the option to reroute. Is there such a thing as turn by turn directions with this gps?

I think if you tap 7 or 8 it drops down and gives you the details of the route.

Negative. That was my intuition too. I got nothing when tapping those.

I think I found a bug. It seems when that option isn't there (although enabled), panning the map then hitting the recenter button - near top left, next to home button will make it reappear.

I should see if changing to other screens does the same, maybe hit nav then map again.

I did some more testing today (only drive the car once or twice a week).

So when that button is missing (#13 from post #1), so is the button to cancel the route (#11, bottom left after the april 2021 update). Panning the map and recentering is one way to get it back.

I hinted in post #4 about pressing NAV then MAP. Apparently that works too. I have a ticket opened with mapnsoft, # 33753:1369581.

If this issue bothers you too, you can write to Oliver at info@mapnsoft.com and reference the above # and your concern. It bothers me to some extent but not the end of the world.

In my email interaction with "Oliver", I provided screen shots of software versions, a brief video showing the missing buttons. He now wants me to record a video while driving. This is too much. I replied someone from engineering needs to get of their behind and go drive a car themselves. The issue should be reproducible.

On that note, are others seeing similar behavior with the same car?
