I recently purchased a 2020 GT Indigo Stinger drove it home everything seemed fine. So a week later I decided to take a look under the the under hood check the oil and filters etc, noticed that the coolant reservoir is bone dry. Next day came around topped it off with coolant watched it a couple days steady losing coolant. Day two I noticed it was some coolant on the passenger of the engine bay and also under the well and boot axles. Took it to the dealership I purchased it from they ran a pressure test and said there was no leaks. I’m going to take it to a Kia dealer next week have anybody had similar problems?

change in weather? i know this has been discussed on this forum before. try doing a search.

i've seen some posts here where some connections were loose... It shouldn't be dropping at all that quickly.. in 36k miles on my 2020 indigo, coolant has never been topped off and when cold it is on the low line and when warm it is middle to full on the reservoir.

I live in Florida so it’s been like up and down depending on the days but it’s been in the low 50s and high 70s

Right I’ve looked all under the car and in the engine bay couldn’t find nothing loose even had some rev it while I check under the hood still didn’t see anything

if there is air in the system, it'll keep sucking down coolant until all the air bleeds out. if you are seeing coolant on the passenger side, check around the throttle body, there are some coolant lines there. but this sounds like the dealer needs to pressure test.

but this sounds like the dealer needs to pressure test.
It was pressure tested in post #1 by a dealership, and no leaks were found.

@Tskii where was/what was the dealership that did the pressure test?

Carmax unfortunately the service center in my city isn’t that great but I explained to them what was going on had them pressure test it twice they say still wasn’t nothing they could find. I tried to explain how it was all under the fender well and and cv axle but it was bad raining weather that day so you couldn’t tell

Snap a few pics next time you look at it, if it's not raining.

This is usually where the coolant sits at and some under the intake box

And I’m pretty sure this is supposed to be straight I’m guessing the coolant reservoir was bone dry while sitting on the car lot for so long

look above that on the engine, that's where the throttle body is. There are coolant lines running to it. That'll be under warranty. just take it to a dealer.
