My Whole Foods outing..

Went into Whole Foods..

Parked my car away from everyone because Orange seems to be a magnet, not a car within 5 spots on either side of me.
Came out 40 minutes later and had a Maserati Levante, a Porsche 911 next to him, an E series Benz on my other side and a 3 series Beemer next to him.

My girlfriend (who is a bit of a badge snob) looked at me and said “it’s still a f*cking Kia”....I wish I’d taken a picture (through my laughter) of all these guys surrounding my South Korean with their Germans and Italians..

I do agree with you OP though! I seem to get E-class Benz's and BMW's flocking around me... never had a cool Porsche or Maserati next to me though...

Well I wrote it much more negatively than her sarcastic humor would let on.. she (like most) remembers Kia from the 90’s. That said she likes the car, but is not a fan of the color (which I’m cool with).

Down at Zion Canyon two weeks ago, I parked for the night in an end stall that was removed from the thronged parking areas. And I saw a Camaro later that had backed into the stall next to me. Cool, I thought; he feels protected on my side, and I can count on him being careful. But in the morning I went to move my car and saw SCRATCHES on the passenger side, from nose to rear wheel well, window to bottom of the door: it looked like ten angry women had keyed the Camaro!

I didn’t take it as one. It was more like her making a comment to the other car owners that “hey, it’s a Kia dummies, not a maserbenzershe”...

Aside from the 911, it's the only one that stands out (and not just talking about the paint job).

Ha, it's nice, but Benz designs have been insipid for a while now (with the refreshed E Class being among the worst).

I get a lot of people with the more exotic cars rubbernecking my kia.

Had a guy behind at a left turn on to a 4 lane try to pass me on the right. He changed his mind when I booted it. He migrated back to the passing lane and came closer to checkout the stinger. He dropped back to follow me. Not sure what he was driving, maybe an audi but he showed respect.
