Exactly a year from owning the stinger, the starter went out.

The vehicle was "on" but no engine sound or nothing. Had it towed to the dealership to find out it was the starter. It also wouldn't shut off. Even though the engine wasn't technically on, the car on features were on and they wouldn't shut off. (If that makes sense ha ha)

I am more upset about the fact that it was very hard to get the vehicle in neutral to have it towed to the dealership

Just wanted to update you all just in case you run into the same issue here.

Just curious, how were you able to change to neutral?
After an hour for the tow truck of pushing power off/ on and moving the shift to N, it eventually work. He took out the little tab per the manual above the shifter and it wouldn't work either. Pressing brake lr not as well. It was just a mess.

He tried everything, eventually it worked.

Same with shutting the car off. The engine was not running at all but screen showed the car was on. He couldn't "shut it off"

After numerous times of shutting it off, it eventually turned the car off completely.

Maybe it was just my car but it definitely gave us a hard time.

Yes, even though I shut it off everytime I turn the car on.
