I bought my '18 stinger V6TT used and am pretty sure my exhaust is bone stock. Can anyone take a look at some pictures for me and tell me if they see any piece of it that's not? I feel like my exhaust is louder than it should be for stock, so maybe I just have an exhaust leak..?

Looks like the stock one. Might sound loud since the tailpipes aren't real and the sound can stay under the trunk.

I'm currently trying to post a video of my car idling because I really think there's a leak or maybe I just haven't heard enough stock Stingers idling to know.

I am just now learning that the exhaust floats in the exhaust tips and I believe I'm just hearing that rattle when the exhaust is cold. Once it warms up and expands it gets quieter. Can someone delete this thread so I can save some reputation? :oops:

Welcome to the hive. You had a valid question and posted some clear pics and audio. I dont see any hits to your rep. We all learn by asking questions about the car and reading the posts. I am learning new things about it each week.

I was always happy with the sound of the stock exhaust on cold start and on throttle tip in, but after that it would disappear for me.

Yours is definitely stock. By the looks and sound of it.

Welcome to the forum. Seems like a valid question to me.

@MBronze
Welcome, I also believe the exhaust is standard.

Looks stock, sounds stock.
It's always loudest at cold start, after a minute or so it's much quieter.
Also note that there's fake exhaust sound piped in through the speakers. Maybe yours it turned to max in the infotainment system.
