• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Mud Flaps for Aussie Stingers

I think they look ok. I’m considering them but I don’t know if they’re necessary yet. It hasn’t rained here since I bought my Stinger nearly 3 months ago so I don’t know how much crud is going to be splashed up onto the car. I’ll reassess if we ever get rain. I’m not opposed to fitting them if they prove necessary.
From my experience so far the rear will attract the most crud. Think I'll get them fitted when I take it in for the 3k check soon.

You will be surprised at the amount of stones sitting in the vent hole.

Yeah I had a look a couple of weeks ago when you and Stinger GT SS were talking about it when he did his. It’s like the Great Stony Desert in there. That’s what convinced me it needed doing. So thanks and thanks for the template also. I can’t work out why the left and right are different sizes though.

Its the colour match I'm struggling with hence the search for a Kia one...but thanks, I'll have a look.
When ordering just give them your paint code, I have touched a couple of stone chips on my bumper & it’s barely noticeable.

Ordered a complete set of mud flaps from my dealer, got a good price, retail $129/set of four, got them for $100.45, pick them up next week.

Perfect that’s the price I was quoted. Very easy to install just make sure the fasteners are pushed in well into holes.

My Service Guys are fitting them for me, I’m just waiting on LED reversing bulbs CANbus Error Free that @westcoastGT is using without problems & they will fit them at the same time.

Dealer fitted mudflaps today & it rains...lol. Anyway really happy with the fit & finish they are barely noticeable & should help protect the paintwork in these area’s.
