He mentions in the part II video that LSD should become available on the GT and GT1 trims as production of the outsourced components ramps up. I'd guess this would be during on a future model year, rather than as a mid-year option change.

If they were to make this change midyear, they'd need to make the addition to those who purchased the car without it. I mean - maybe not legally - but for the sake of not losing a whole lot of face in the media - they'd need to get it done...

I think the same could be said for the 360 camera, wireless charging, rear heated seats etc. Depending on the sales performance, we could see them added in future model years.

That could be a reason why they won't make any changes until next year. So probably no 360, rear heat, wireless charging, etc. either.
What a disappointing and idiotic decision on their part.
Waiting a year just to (maybe) get crap that everyone else in the world already has access to. Unbelievable.
