Had no complaints here at all. Salesman was fine, I made it fairly clear I didn't play games and actually I was not there to buy when I showed up for the test drive. Funny how that changed 24 hours later..
I found an identical car at Bob Utter Kia about an hour and a half from here at $10k off MSRP. I sent him an e-mail saying if you can sell me your car for this price, I would take it. He replied back and said they could do it. No hardball, no BS. Walked in last night and drove away with the car. Finance manager was fine, not too pushy about the add-on BS. I did take the extended bumper-to-bumper only because there is so much electrical stuff in this car that Kia only warrants for 3 years, so.. I figured if it eats an infotainment system or gauge cluster then it'll be worth the cost. I have never, ever taken an extended warranty of any sort before, so we'll see if it all works out.
Either way, I'm happy and the experience was about as pleasant as I could have expected from a new car dealer, especially Kia.
