is there an aftermarket horn that is more assertive than the stock OEM horn? My spouse said it was kind of wimpy, not befitting of such a bad-ass car (my words at the end, but you get the point). :-)

Really? A solid two-tone horn isn't enough? I've laid on for cretinish driving in my fellow creatures, and the horn sounds good: it could be louder, but it isn't remotely "wimpy".

Back in the 80s I had a car with an air horn. Loved it. Yeah, in southeast Michigan I'd like a louder horn.

Louder is better, this mini horn looks interesting, let us know how you mount it.

I had the above horn on 2 bikes. Wonderful piece of equipment. Needs to be mounted so horn is not facing towards air flow (get clogged up otherwise).

Do not test indoors without ear protection. It's that loud. Useful for scaring the crap out of pedestrians too. Not sure what the stock horn is rated for, this one does draw upwards of 20A, so going through a relay is recommended.

I'd be mortified if my spouse mentioned my Horn was kind of wimpy. Lol
