Methanol mixtures

Curious on those who use the meth kits, what mixture ratios you guys are using.

On literally every gas engine I've used and tested methanol injection on, they made the most power with 100% methanol. Diesel guys claim mixed make more but I've never tested it on any diesel engines so I can't comment on them

That feedback is somewhat usefully for the stinger. I think a 70% meth 30% water is the best. Since it acts as an additional fuel source and also cools down IATs. 100% pure meth is harder to tune. Also it's more corrosive.

It cools better at 100% too...

I'm not the expert but meth evaporates very quickly so cools the intake, water more slowely and absorbs twice the heat, but with the slower/ delayed evap cools the cylinders. But agree more meth makes more power at least comparing 50/50 to 100%. I've been using 90/10.

Guessing you guys mix your own? Because anything over 49% is hazmat. 49/51 can be shipped from Amazon (I guess you could spike it with more meth).

You can buy 100% at race tracks and speed shops. Be warned though, if you buy it at a track make sure they arent using the same pump for gas and methanol. Petroleum products will destroy a methanol pump

Local place does bulk meth for 7$ per gallon. Already had some boost juice so mix that 4:1.
