MBRP exhaust and SSR down pipe combo!!

Hey guys just wanted to share my exhaust setup it’s the MBRP exhaust and secondary SSR downpipes. Thanks to KDMTUNERS that made this happen. Follow my IG NY1STINGER for more pictures and plans to come soon and our face book page STUNGBYKIA if you are in the east coast and want to meetup.

 
Any fitment issues between the two different brands?

Sounds great and really liking that combo. How’s the drone under load between 1500-2500rpm? Seems like the helmholtz resonators eliminate almost all the drone on the MBRP exhaust in general but how much is it with secondary DPs?
 
So in the before clips what performance mods do you have? The exhaust sounds aggressive to begin with for just ssr downpipes.
 
it is definetely a nice deeper tone with the ssr pipes, the only draw back I have heard is the cold start is EXTREMELY loud ...
 
Want this combo also. Concerned about drone and comfort to passengers though.

you could always get the MBRP ( my experience is pretty much 0 drone with tips added) and if you feel this is not enough, add the midpipes

Yeah I saw your review of them looks like the tips help quite a bit. I'm probably going to do the same setup as you. But have to save a bit of money before I all in. I'm sure the JB4 and engine turbos would like that additional breathing also....

It’s not bad you could always wrap the tips if you don’t like it. I left it as is and my wife drives it some times to work she likes it lol.

Yes that is correct with any exhaust it’s going to loud when you start it just a few seconds.

Loud - like your neighbors hate you for waking them up if you leave early for work? :D
