This listing gives you an idea. They are listing a GT2 for $49,595, which is a few grand short of MSRP, but looks like they are keeping about half the current lease cash.

"Price includes all available OEM rebates and incentives including loyalty, military, APR cash, or lease cash"

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/...ew/?aff=alerts&emc=alerts&smtrctid=1361068435

They also played games with the Money Factor when offering MSRP on a GT1.

Thank you for the addition! I appreciate you being on the lookout. :)

Sure thing. Even though I think I'm out of the hunt at this point, glad to share my experiences. I've been following this car for 6-8 months or whenever the first hints came out. Encouraging for those still in it to see there are 3 or 4 more cars in my state (AZ) in just the week since I started posting here.

This is probably the wrong thread, but I'm really curious to see how the launch of the Genesis G70 goes. As we know it's the same platform, and I'm hoping they retain the extra bits the GT2 is missing in the USA. Might be petty to demand the 360 cam, rear heaters, etc but if we're paying 45+k for a car with what is a questionable pedigree for some people, just give us the whole chalupa.

I've gone back to looking at 2016+ Maxima Platinums. I know it's a totally different car, but is loaded to the gills. Can't find any other car that interests me with those kind of features in the same price range.

Oh my goodness. You just helped me figure out why the Stinger is missing options here in the U.S. There's no way the G70 is going to be missing ANY of these features... The new Maxima is very nice so you're looking at a nice new car either way. For Genesis G70 talk, here's the link in case you're interested: http://www.g70forum.com

Should we turn this into a new thread for G70 speculation vs Stinger? Seems like there are a lot of potential buyers that are bummed about the stripping down of the US spec GT2. And voting with their wallet.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Be my guest! Although there are several conversations going on here, there, everywhere really. But I don't think there's one main topic about it. You might want to do a quick search first...
