So I have a question and some of it is likely because I don't fully understand how the JB4 maps work. I have 2 logs, one from a bunch of Map3 testing and a Map2 test, all on 93 pump gas mixed to ~96 octane using VP unleaded. I'm using a basic JB4 without any additional things like EWG or Fuel-It. No intake or exhaust modifications. HKS plugs gapped to .022".
Both of them seem to be pulling timing around 4500+ RPM, but with a variance. Map2 pulls more timing less frequently. Map3 pulls less timing more frequently.
Sending them to map6tuning suggests going down a map if I see the timing pulled frequently... but what is "too many messages"? I can say with certainty the car runs way, way faster on Map3 instead of Map2, even though there's only about 1.5psi difference. There's some other messages noted but I'm not sure if they really mean anything besides logging artifacts.
