This message is intended for Terry or someone else from BMS, but others are welcome to chime in.

I’ve been running maps 2, 3 & 4 on my ‘20 G70 3.3T for about 8 months. My aftermarket engine replaced parts are:
- JB4 w/ fuel wires
- BMS intakes
- Denso 1 step colder plugs
- Seccondary dp’s
- Valved muffler
I’m looking for something new and have a few questions about custom map 6 tuning;
1) With just fuel wires, is there much to be gained/dialed in with custom tuning?
2) What is the process to get a custom map if I decide to go that route?
3) Do you [BMS] have any “off the shelf” config’s that can be loaded into map 6 as alternatives to the pre-loaded maps? Just looking for something fun to play around with.

Map 6 is useful for those that are running e30 and/or meth and/or charge pipe injection (CPI). It's for pushing the boundaries when you've hit the limit of the stock fuel pump. You're most likely to find useful information on the Burger message boards.

Hi. You can compare map 5. the race map for example. If you go use map 6 and choose to add 8lbs of boost over stock it means you are trying to add more power than that original map 5 boost over stock. It’s there for you at map 5 but you try to add more as a custom map. Hope it makes sense.

My car was always fastest with Map 2 and slower with higher maps. Higher maps need more hardware changes to make different. Test with a Dragy, do some 1/4 mile and then you can compared and see how the different maps behave. That will be the truth of the times! Some higher maps can always make it feel as some faster as boost is coming on more and faster but thats not the hole truth.
