Using the 450-horsepower-kia-stinger-hyundai-genesis-package kit. Tried to post a link but forum wasn't happy. I'm sure you all know which kit it is anyway.

Correctly gapped the included plugs. Running 98 RON (I think that's about 93 MON?) with 10% ethanol mix in New Zealand.

I don't get many opportunities to do logs, so these are a couple of weeks apart, but I think the temperature was about the same both times. Map 3 has a big dip in the timing at 151.75, which might have been the TCS but I didn't notice it coming on - would be surprised if it was TCS at 60 mph on a dry day...

Should I stick with map 2? Should I do another log on 3?

Thanks folks.

They both look good to me as far as timing deviation. assuming you have good 93 octane you may be able to run Map 3. I assume you meant that the gas may contain up to 10% ethanol not that you mixed e85 in the tank. if you could mix in a few gallons of e85 you would be really good to go on map 3. email the logs to Burger Tuning for advice as well.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, it's mixed at the pump. Described as: "Gull Force 10 is a high-performance 98 Octane fuel made with 10% ethanol."

Unfortunately E85 is not available in New Zealand at the pump. It looks like you can buy it in 200L drums (targeted at race teams), but that's only sold in two locations in the country, the nearest of which to me is over 500km (300 miles) away. Which is a little bit impractical.

Those logs are crap. You need to do like a 30-90 run. 3rd gear thru 4th. However on both these logs when your under boost it looks good.

Haha thanks for the review, I figured as much. I went out tonight specially for you cncBilly! New law-breaking log attached.

Looks fine to my noob eyes. I think map 4 would be pushing it on regular pump fuel though, right?

...Right? :sneaky:

Looks pretty clean to me and you say thats on 93. My logs don’t look that clean on map3 with 93. I have to do an E blend to use map3. Cheers
